Help keep the Vikings in Minnesota
| Racino Bill - How You Can Help Save the Vikes Today If you want to keep the Vikings in Minnesota, here's your chance to do something about it. A Minnesota Senate committee is going to hear a Racino bill later today that is advocating for $25 million annually for a new Vikings stadium. This is a strong bill that could provide funding for a new stadium for the Minnesota Vikings. SavetheVikes.org founder Cory Merrifield will testify at this hearing. Contact members of the Local Government Operations and Oversight committee today and tell them that you support Racino to fund a new stadium. Here's how: 1. Visit the committee webpage. scroll down to "Members" and click on the name of each senator. 2. Click on "Contact Me by Email" on each senator's page 3. Tell each senator that you support the Racino Bill to fund a new home for the Vikings. It's helpful to reference the bill as Senate File #2950 (officially called the Jobs, Family and Economic Development Fund), scroll down to "Members" and click on the name of each Senator. Additionally, the bill would help with state education costs, medical research, Minnesota's agricultural community and the state deficit. Over the next couple of months during the remainder of the session it will be extremely important for Vikings fans to be able to mobilize and respond quickly to our state leadership to get action on keeping the Vikings in Minnesota. Please encourage fellow fans, friends, coworkers and anybody else you can think of to go to www.savethevikes.org and join our emailing list on the right hand side. This will help us keep you informed on what you can do to help get resolution to the Vikings stadium issue! In closing, you can find more information about Racino and what it means to the Vikings fans on our website, along with the latest stadium developments you won't hear anywhere else. The future of our team is in your hands. Thank you for taking action today by emailing your legislative leaders and the Senate committee! Sincerely, SavetheVikes.org teamsavethevikes@gmail.com P.S. Don't forget to forward this email on to your network asking them to help! | Only 20 home games left until we lose our beloved Vikings forever!Act Now! Woe is me?

Hello world! My TI-89 Titanium is supposed to be the Rolls-Royce of graphing calculators, and when I enter square root of a number, it returns square root of a number...ANY number! The square root of, say, 3 is 1.73205081,that's rounded to a mere 8 decimal places. My TI-84 silver, which btw cost 60 bucks less (bought it last semester) told me the numerical answer. WTF? I am f*@%ing pissed. Anybody know what I'm taking about? Talk to my personal friend on the right. He talks to me on a unique level. Talk to me, too. I am nice if you are nice, and I DON'T LIKE assholes, so don't f*@%ing blog my ass. I ain't got shit to say to you. Civil and decent human beings, however, I love you. Inqusitive minds. Do you realize exacly what you have between your ears? The most complex computer that will ever exist. Whatever. If you have a TI-89 Titanium, you are either a student or a graduate student. Or...you got a sweeeeet job! Do you know how to make this 200 buck, supposed electronic genius tell me a friggin' numerical value for a simple damn square root? And don't believe that I cuss like this all the time. I'm really a nice guy, if you want to talk civil and decent about ANYTHING. I can dig it. Or try to. Call me Tom. You won't hear much from me (like it or not) until after May. I'm supposed to graduate then. Only an AA and an AS, but the first in my family. I'm proud. I have to find work, though. My income is zero, except pell refunds every three or four months. But this is my last. My wife is disabled, and her monthly check is all we live on. It is not fun. I want to continue school and at least get a bachelor's. That would have to be part-time, 'cause I gotta find work somehow. I live in the friggin' sticks, so God help me. I write a lot of lyrics and poetry, so if ya know somebody...that knows somebody, know what I mean? Writing is my calling, but selling it is another animal. I want to try to use the Interweb instead of not having time to call or snail mail people for a market. Later.
